| “I became a Governor as we have a family member who has schizophrenia"
I saw the work that the Trust was doing and was interested in helping.
I have held senior roles in national and multinational organisations and was a Town Councillor for 10 years and also Mayor. I have been a director and trustee of various charities including one for homelessness where mental health issues are common. I am Deacon of a church where several members have learning difficulties.
I see the role of Governor as very important to the trust through acting as a critical friend, and "sounding board."
