|"I became a Governor because I believed I could make a useful contribution to HPFT"
I have many years’ experience of managing complex organisations with responsibility for large budgets so I understand what it takes to keep driving new initiatives and improvement while keeping day to day operations moving effectively and efficiently.
My experience of the development and testing of new strategies is wide, and I am committed to ensuring that the HPFT Board keeps finding innovative ways of doing more for less for service users.
I am a passionate supporter of the NHS. I have worked with nurses, doctors and other health professionals over a number of years in the field of publishing books and journals. Two family members have first hand experience as mental health service users and my partner also works in the field.
