|"I am a former service user and a practitioner in the field of mental health"
I was appointed the very first Mental Wellbeing Advisor at the University of Hertfordshire. My work at the University brings me into contact with a range of professionals and service users across the county. I teach about mental health recovery at both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and completed the MSc in Mental Health Practice in 2015.
Having worked in the field for a number of statutory and voluntary organisations I have an in depth knowledge of the evolving mental health landscape.
In my role of Governor and as a veteran of both sides in the mental health I represent and push for the needs of service users and professionals alike.
