"Being a governor is a fantastic opportunity for me to further contribute to the establishment that I work with"
I am an enthusiastic person who thoroughly enjoys working with people with health needs and I am confident this has been demonstrated with my employment so far with HPFT.
I have various transferable skills which include communication by speaking, writing or in another medium, dependability, teamwork, organisation, adaptability, leadership and technology literacy. I have acquired this experience through working collaboratively in a variety of settings with consultants, nurses, occupational therapist, speech and language therapist, music and art therapist.
My working knowledge also includes understanding and implementing the Equal Opportunities policy which has resulted in me being able to work well with everyone irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, language, and education. I successfully embrace those differences, and facilitate those differences contributing to our constituent and the wider society as a whole.
I arrange and facilitate in-house meetings and write reports. I do provide valuable information in other areas and have partnered with others on how I can improve
I am passionate about understanding how we can make the working lives of our people even better by continuing to be a diverse and inclusive with equal opportunities and I believe being a Staff Governor will enable me to contribute to this.
