CAMHS Psychologists
CQC rated HPFT as an Outstanding Trust (2019) and Specialist CAMHS are currently recruiting Psychologists to work in Hertfordshire with children and young people with severe, complex or persistent mental health problems. We are looking for individuals seeking opportunity and development working in a CAMHS Tier 3 service who can bring innovative ways of thinking, flexibility and creativity that thrive working in a multi discipline environment.
We operate with a CAPA model where multi-disciplinary community teams work with individuals and families to deliver therapeutic interventions such as systemic intervention, family work, psychological intervention, evidence based psychotherapy, CBT, DBT to work with young people to manage:
Attachment disorders
- Trauma
- Developmental disorders with co-morbidity
- Deliberate self-harm
- Suicidal ideation
- Emotional & behavioural disorders
- Sexualised Behaviours including perpetrators of child on child sexual abuse
- Psychosis
- Moderate to severe depressive symptoms
We recognise the importance of support for our team members and offer both external and internal training opportunities plus regular CPD sessions and opportunity for research in specialist areas. We offer reflect practice space with supervision monthly in addition to regular clinical supervision and management supervision.
Our Trust is in the process of setting up a neurodivergent pathway of assessing and supporting those with co-morbid presentations. Psychology plays a vital role in the design of these pathways. We offer a comprehensive induction, with regular supervision, and peer support network. We value the contribution of our team and are able to offer some flexibility of working around service need, including both remote and in-person aspects of working.
