Today is Mental Health Nurses’ Day
This year is the 5th annual Mental Health Nurses’ Day. It is an opportunity to celebrate the mental health nurses across the Trust who do such fantastic work every day.
At HPFT there are more than 560 mental health nurses working in a wide variety of roles. We are extremely proud of the work undertaken by our staff and we encourage others to consider working alongside our fantastic teams, helping vulnerable service users and making a real difference.
A number of our mental health nurses have shared how “rewarding” they find their roles and how “proud” they are to be part of the HPFT family – providing outstanding care to service users.
Jacky Vincent, Executive Director of Quality and Safety (Chief Nurse) said:
“I continue to be proud and grateful for the care our mental health nurses provide, supporting those who use our services. Today, as Mental Health Nurses Day is an opportunity to acknowledge, thank and celebrate the difference they are making to individuals.”
