Our response to The Francis Report

In 2014, we published an action plan in response to The Francis Report and related national reviews.

We went to our service users, carers and staff to ask them what The Francis Report meant to them. As well as steering our action plan this helped us to produce a clear statement of the values and behaviours which we strive to bring to all areas of our work at HPFT.

The action plan outlines our approach to quality and safety in the past and goes on to clearly define our main actions moving forwards.

Within the report we:

• Describe the background in more detail, explaining what these reports and reviews mean for us.

• Present the key actions we are taking with practical examples.
  
  
• State our conclusions.
