The Marlowes considered for Best Primary Care Development - Refurbishment
26 Nov 18 - 25 Nov 19
The Marlowes Health and Wellbeing Centre, managed in partnership by Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) and Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) was considered for the Building Better Healthcare Award for Best Primary Care Development - Refurbishment at the end of October.
The newly refurbished facility in Hemel Hempstead opened earlier this year, offering welcoming, comfortable reception areas and spacious, light and airy consultation rooms. A therapeutic environment has been created at the wellbeing centre which provides a range of physical and mental health services all together under one roof for the local community.
There was tough competition for this prestigious event. The Marlowes missed out on the winning award to an inviting and sustainable dentistry unit at Radboud University, but was given a special mention by the awards organisers, which is a great achievement.
