Hear about our highlights at our AGM
12 Jul 17 - 11 Jul 18
It has been a very successful year for Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) and our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for us to celebrate with the local community. It is a chance to hear about the highlights and challenges of the past 12 months as well as learn about new services and initiatives.
Over the last year, the Trust has continued to deliver against an increased demand for our services. Additionally there have been a number of positive developments including the continued transformation of our older people’s services at Lambourn Grove and Logandene dementia units, the expansion of our award-winning eating disorders service for young people and the establishment of our Street Triage initiative in partnership with Hertfordshire Constabulary. External surveys and benchmarks – such as the NHS National Staff Survey and the National Community Mental Health Survey – have endorsed the quality of the services that the Trust provides.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 19 July, from 5pm to 8pm at The Colonnades, Beaconsfield Road, Hatfield, AL10 8YE.
Guests will be able to visit a marketplace of exhibition stalls showcasing some of HPFT’s services and there will also be the chance to talk to staff and find out about the shape of things to come.
The meeting will include a Chairman’s Report from Chris Lawrence, an overview of the year from Chief Executive Tom Cahill and a presentation about the annual finances from Keith Loveman, Executive Director for Finance. There will also be an overview of our plans for the year ahead from Jinjer Kandola, Deputy Chief Executive, and a chance to ask questions during a Q&A session.
Mr Cahill said: “I look forward to welcoming staff, service users and members of the public to our AGM. It is an opportunity to hear about the highlights and challenges from the past 12 months and the plans we have to continue to deliver great care and great outcomes for the people we serve.”
