National Apprenticeships Week 2022 – 7-11 Feb 2022
07 Feb 22
National Apprenticeships Week brings together organisations, businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to the working world. It’s also the perfect opportunity for us at HPFT to celebrate our fantastic apprentices and share with you the programme we have at the Trust!
Here at HPFT we offer a number of apprenticeships that provide great ‘earn while you learn’ opportunities across the organisation. Our apprentices work in a range of settings, learning on the job whilst also having a well-structured programme of training, development, support and mentoring. For some healthcare apprenticeships, there’s also the chance to become a qualified professional!
We offer a range of exciting and rewarding apprenticeship roles in both clinical and non-clinical settings including:
Clinical Apprenticeships
- Adult Care Level 2 and Lead Adult Care Level 3 Apprenticeships
- Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) apprenticeship
- Nursing Degree apprenticeship
Non-clinical apprenticeships
- Business Administration apprenticeship
- Customer Service apprenticeship
- Medical Administration apprenticeship
- Project Management apprenticeship
- Team Leader apprenticeship
Here’s what one of our apprentices has to say about his experience:
“Customer service is a powerful and versatile skill set that can and will affect most areas of my day-to-day working life. I recently started a new position in HPFT, and I want to ensure I meet the standards of the Trust, as well as ensuring I provide the best service I can in my position. Not only is this something I can use in my current work, but it is transferable to many other areas of the workforce.
This course has a good balance of studying and working at the same time, so I can work towards this apprenticeship and commit to a full-time job with ease. I think that everyone in a people-facing role, from customers to patients and service users, should look at doing something like this as there is always something we all can improve on, and courses like this help us achieve our best.”
- Nic, a customer service apprentice
