Service Manager Gareth Walton and Elizabeth Harrington Deputy Clinical Lead said: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation. We are proud to be part of such a motivated, inspiring, and hardworking team. Without their commitment and desire to help people overcome their difficulties and improve their lives, we would not have achieved this. We regularly receive warm and positive feedback from our patients, and this award further confirms the high quality service the team provides.”

Health in Mind provides a free, confidential NHS mental health service to residents who are aged 17 and over and living in and around Colchester and Tendring. The team offers a wide range of talking therapy treatments as part of the national initiative, Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), working in partnership with charity, Mind.

Kate Spokes Senior Service Line Lead and Dr Maggie Rosairo Clinical Lead said: “Receiving this national accreditation is a fantastic achievement for the service. We’d like to thank everyone involved who has worked so incredibly hard for this national accolade, which recognises the high standards and quality of care we are providing for our service users.”

Sarra Bargent, Head of Clinical Quality for North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group said: “Accreditation offers assurance the services commissioned are effective and of a high quality. This is supported by positive feedback from the people who use the service.”
