You’re invited to HPFT’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) 19 July

13 Jul 18 - 12 Jul 19

Following another highly successful year for Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for us to celebrate with the local community. It’s also a chance to hear about the highlights and challenges of the past 12 months as well as learn about new services and initiatives.

There will be a presentation on a new service focusing on caring for the emotional wellbeing of people living with diabetes in tandem with their physical needs. This new service in partnership with West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust was a regional winner of the NHS70 Parliamentary Award for ‘Excellence in Mental Health Care’.

Over the last year, the Trust has continued to deliver high quality services against an increasing demand. Additionally there have been a number of positive developments including an overall rating of “Good” at our recent CQC inspection, with our Learning Disability and Forensic Services being rated “Outstanding”.

The AGM will be held on Thursday 19 July, from 5pm to 7.30pm at The Colonnades, Beaconsfield Road, Hatfield, AL10 8YE.

Guests will be able to visit a marketplace of stalls showcasing some of HPFT’s services including the Wellbeing Service and Spot the Signs and Save a Life. There will also be an opportunity to look at a giant timeline celebrating 70 years of the NHS.

The meeting will include a Chair’s Report from Chris Lawrence, an overview of the year from Chief Executive Tom Cahill and a presentation about the annual finances from Keith Loveman, Executive Director for Finance. There will also be an overview of our plans for the year ahead and a chance to ask questions during a Q&A session.

HPFT’s Chief Executive Tom Cahill said: “I hope service users, members of the public and staff will join us at our AGM.

“The profile of mental health has never been higher and this is an ideal opportunity to find out what’s been happening at the Trust over the last 12 months, as well as learn about some of our new initiatives and plans for delivering even higher levels of service going forward.”
