Advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

There's no evidence the COVID-19 vaccine is unsafe if you're pregnant. But more evidence is needed before you can routinely be offered it.

You do not need to avoid pregnancy after vaccination. The vaccine cannot give you or your baby COVID-19.

We are aware that there has been some misinformation circulating about the impact of Covid-19 vaccines on fertility. In response to this misinformation, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Royal College of Midwives have provided to reassure women that there is no evidence to suggest that Covid-19 vaccines will affect fertility.
