Having Your Say

We want to hear your feedback about the services we provide.  This can help us to improve our services by understanding what we are doing well, what we could do more of and what isn't working for the best.

Feedback is usually provided in the form of surveys and all of our surveys are anonymous and confidential.  They are available to fill in online although we can provide a paper copy if you would prefer - just email us at hpft.havingyoursay@nhs.net with your name, address and service that you would like to feedback on.

Text Messages

From March 2022 we have also been sending text messages containing a link to the Friends and Family Test survey to service users in Adult Community and Older Peoples' Community services.  These text messages are sent after an appointment and, regardless of the number of appointments within a 30 day period, you will only receive one text message.  You can opt out from receiving these messages by following the instructions in the text message.  This new innovative way of asking for feedback is already proving very popular and we are seeing big increases in our responses to the survey.  Thank you.

The Shared Experience Library

You can also choose to contribute to the Shared Experience Library. This is a digital collection of service user and carer stories about your experience of care. It allows staff to hear and understand the experiences of service users and carers in a meaningful way. If you would like to contribute to the library, we are looking for people to share their story. Please click here to find out more.
