NHS APP Patients Know Best (PKB)
Service users supported by the Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) teams in Hertfordshire can see their appointments in the NHS App, giving them an easier way to keep track of their care. This has now been extended to service users accessing our Community Eating Disorders service, Community Perinatal Team, Perinatal-Trauma Loss and Care (P-TLC), EPMHS (Enhanced Primary Mental Health Service) and PATH (Psychosis, Prevention, Assessment, Treatment in Hertfordshire) & ARMS (At Risk Mental State).
This has been made possible through our partnership with the Patients Know Best (PKB) secure online patient portal. PKB is the platform we use to share appointment information with the NHS App. You will receive communications from PKB as part of the registration process. This provides you with access to your personal health information and is designed to improve your experience.
You will receive an email from no-replyuk@patientsknowbest.com inviting you to register with PKB so it’s really important that we have your up-to-date email address. You will also receive appointment reminder emails.
PKB will enable you to access NHS services and information via a website you can access from any device, as well as by the NHS App using your NHS login, giving you more choice and control over your care. All your information is securely stored in one place with instant notifications when new information is made available.
This free service is accessible at any time, whether this is on a mobile phone, tablet or computer, meaning your information is at your fingertips, whenever you need it 24/7.
You can access the NHS App on your computer here or, download to your device from you app store. You can access PKB online here.
