Gainsford House

Gainsford House is a 12 bedded unit dedicated to adult mental health rehabilitation in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.  

Facilities

The design of the unit allows for 12 service users to reside in a purpose built unit with private bedrooms, three shared living areas complete with dining area and kitchenette. Service users will have support from an experienced clinical team and access to meaningful indoor and outdoor activities.  

Therapies and activities

The unit makes use of outdoor space, shared communal spaces and a dedicated activity room to offer service users therapeutic and meaningful activities.  The unit has access to a car to support service users to engage with community activities
