HPFT carers resources
We provide a range of information that give essential information for carers about their role and how they can get the support they need. This information can be downloaded below:
-
Carer Handbook: this is our main resource for carers and contains a range of information for carers friends and families of people who have used, are used or might use an HPFT service.
-
Preparing for your carers assessment: We want to support your needs as much as possible. For many carers, the best way we can give this support is by providing you with a Carer Assessment. This guide will help you get the most from your assessment. The assessment is a way of finding out what support you might need from us, not an assessment of your ability as a carer.
-
Young Carers Mental Health Information: we have worked with young carers living in Hertfordshire to produce a new mental health booklet to help young people get the right information, particularly if they are caring for a loved one who has a mental health issue.
-
Common Sense Confidentiality: this details the ways that we expect our staff to behave to ensure that carers receive as much information as possible to support them in their caring role.
