Alternative crisis services and support information

Alternative crisis support provided by Herts Mind Network

Herts Mind Network crisis services provide emotional support, advice and information if you are feeling distressed and are in crisis. 

The  NightLight Crisis Helpline team is here for you from 7pm to 1am, every day of the year. 

The Nightlight Crisis Cafes* are open from 6pm to 11pm weekdays and from 3pm to 11pm weekends (Watford & Ware). 

NightLight Overnight Beds* at (Hemel Hempstead) are available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights, for those who need to stay overnight.

* Please note that face to face visits and overnight stays are currently operating by appointment only.

Most referrals to our services are made by GPs

If you are experiencing mental health problems and need help please speak to your GP (family doctor). They will discuss the issues you are facing and refer you to our services, if appropriate.

For mild to moderate mental health issues

Our Wellbeing Service offers short term support to people with mild to moderate mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Please click here for more information about the service,  see our a range self-help materials and find out how to refer yourself to the service.
