In an emergency you must dial 999 for the police and/or ambulance service.

For non-urgent situations of abuse or neglect, the service you need to contact depends on the area where the adult lives.

NSPCC
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) is a United Kingdom charity campaigning and working in child protection.

Child Line
A free 24 hour counselling service for children and young people up to and including 18 in the UK provided by The NSPCC. ChildLine deals with any issue which causes distress or concern, such as child abuse, bullying and sex.
