Clare Panniker, NHS England’s East of England Regional Director visits HPFT

Clare Panniker, NHS England’s East of England Regional Director visited HPFT and met with teams including CAMHS and those supporting people with eating disorders at Rosanne House in Welwyn Garden City.

Clare leads the region’s work with integrated care boards and focuses on improvements in the provision of healthcare and outcomes for the East of England, as well as shaping future policy and strategy.

Introduced to teams by our Chief Executive, Karen Taylor, Clare spent time meeting staff and was interested to learn more about the services they delivered, the challenges faced and the way we are responding to them.

With presentations from the service leads, Clare then heard in more detail about the development of the EROS and Community Perinatal teams – the impact these teams have had and the incredible success of their team approach, including the integration of new roles and peer support workers into their teams.
