New Grief and Bereavement Webinar Series

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies in Hertfordshire and North Essex has launched a new innovative online webinar series to help residents dealing with grief and loss.
Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust provides access to talking therapy services in Hertfordshire and North Essex through a wide range of treatment intervention for adults with common mental health problems.
Most people experience grief when they lose something or someone important to them. Bereavement, grief and loss can cause many different symptoms and they affect people in different ways. There is no one way to grieve.
For those who want to help the bereaved it is sometimes difficult to know what to say or do. Seeing a friend or loved one struggle with their grief can be very difficult. The Grief and Bereavement Webinar Series is dedicated to people who are grieving and those who are trying to support them.
The four part Grief and Bereavement Webinar Series offers participants a way to learn more about living with grief and loss, dealing with difficult conversations thoughts and beliefs about grief and moving forward. The webinar series is facilitated by two trained and experienced CBT therapists. Each of the webinars can be viewed independently, or as a series.
In light of the current global situation related to COVID-19, the webinar series also looks at the specifics of grieving within the context of the pandemic and aims to provide support to people immediately affected and those supporting others who are grieving.
