National Day of Reflection - 23rd March 2021

19 Mar 21

On Tuesday 23 March 2021 the Trust and the nation will mark the anniversary of the first national lockdown coming together for a National Day of Reflection.

The Trust would like to invite all of our service user and carer communities to join together as one with us to reflect on our collective loss and the difficult year we have had together.

It has been one of the most challenging and difficult twelve months which has touched all of our lives.  However there are early signs of the pandemic being past its peak and hope for a return to more normal and brighter times ahead.

Tragically and so sadly, 126,000 people have died across the UK during that time.

193 of those people were our service users and two of them were our members of staff. So many people have been unwell due to the pandemic and have lost family members.  Every life lost has been devastating for the people left behind.

Please do join us on Tuesday 23 March at 11.40am by clicking here. If you do not have Microsoft Teams on your computer or electronic device you can download it here.

We will be joining the nation to observe a minutes silence at 12 noon as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives to COVID-19.
