Get prepared for the Easter weekend

With the Easter Bank Holiday (Friday 7 – Monday 10 April) on the horizon, make sure you’re prepared to help you stay safe and well.
 
If you rely on prescription medication, check now to see if you have enough for the four-day holiday. If you or someone you know needs new supplies, order them as soon as possible. There’s guidance on how to order repeat prescriptions on the NHS website.

If you’ve got family or friends staying with you for the long weekend, remind them to bring their own medication with them, so they don’t end up getting caught short.

Over Easter services are still available such as pharmacies for minor illnesses as well as NHS 111 online to refer you for more urgent healthcare support.

You can find a list of pharmacies open on Good Friday and Easter Monday by visiting www.nhs.uk and using the ‘Find a Pharmacy’ tool.
