We are pleased to announce that tickets have been released for the 15^th Annual Mental Health and Learning Disability Recovery Event.

Please join us for our 15th Annual Mental Health and Learning Disability Recovery Event. We will celebrate stories of Recovery from Experts by Experience and Service Providers, and challenge ourselves to constantly do better in creating the ideal circumstances for ourselves and others to overcome our challenges.

As the pandemic shifts and changes but hesitates to release us fully from its grip, we come together to continue to bear witness to the impact that it has on us, to reflect and to look to each other for a way forward into a collective Recovery. To this end we have put together a programme of sessions, live and recorded, which we hope will engage, challenge, and ultimately give hope.

This year we will be online again, on MS Teams – there is an Eventbrite link below to book. Once again we have international contributions, this year from no less than Dr Roberto Mezzina (the outgoing Director of Mental Health in Trieste, Italy), and Dr Yael Mazor (Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Sapir College).

Closer to home we have many and varied presentations, live and recorded, from people like New Leaf Recovery and Wellbeing College, an update from a Community Recovery project in Watford, a Choir (or two), news about a Peer Support project from Viewpoint, workshops for Carers from Carer’s in Herts, a Mindfulness Session from Mind In Mid-Herts, the voice of young people from HPFT’s Young People Network talking about Body Image, stories of hope and survival in relation to Suicide from Herts Mind Network, and much, much more.
