Join our 2024 Recovery Conference

29 Feb 24

HPFT and partners are excited to announce this year’s Recovery Conference 'Mental Health and the World Today - It's Everybody's Concern'.

The conference focuses on the impact of current world events and the day-to-day challenges of modern life on people's mental health and wellbeing.

It will take place on the 14 May at Robertson House in Stevenage.

Andrew Nicholls, HPFT Consultant Clinical Psychologist, said:

“We want to empower and inspire individuals and communities on their journey to mental wellbeing, recovery and living well; and to challenge all of us to recognise our own roles in that journey.”

Anyone who is interested in matters to do with mental health, learning disability and neurodiversity are encouraged to attend. People with lived experience, people seeking help in services, their carers, the public and staff working in services.

All aspects of the conference, presentations and workshops are co-produced so that the authentic voice of lived experience is heard throughout.

The conference will also hear about HPFT’s new Great Together Recovery strategy, which will inform what we will be doing to embed this approach in our services.
