Celebrating being the second community team in the country to receive QNLD accreditation

Our North East Essex community learning disability team is celebrating after becoming the second community team in the country to receive QNLD accreditation (Quality Network for Community Learning Disability Services) from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. This is recognition of the high standards that the service achieves.
It is a double celebration for HPFT as our EROS team (Enhanced Rehabilitation Outreach Service) recently celebrated after being the first Community Rehabilitation team to be accredited by the Quality Network for Mental Health Rehabilitation Services.
The QNLD community networks facilitates quality improvement through a supportive network and peer-review process using standards based on national guidelines.
Dr Sawhney, Consultant Psychiatrist & Deputy Medical Director said:
“We have a fantastic team of dedicated professionals who are committed to improving the lives of service users with learning disabilities. We are delighted to receive this accreditation and it highlights the Trust’s commitment to putting the people we support at the heart of everything we do.”
