CYPMHS Nursing Forum brings colleagues together

Nurses from across HPFT’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) came together for a day of networking and shared learning at the CYPMHS Nursing Forum, held at our head office. They were joined by external visitors from NHSE, who were complimentary about the culture within the Trust, particularly the way we celebrate each other’s successes.

The event’s theme was “One Voice, One Strength, One Future,” bringing together nursing colleagues from community teams, specialist services, and leadership roles to connect and celebrate the profession.

Throughout the day, attendees took part in team presentations showcasing innovative practice, relaxation exercises to promote wellbeing, networking, team-building activities and a reflective group session to close the day.

The forum gave colleagues an opportunity to explore how lived experience, peer support, and reflective practice can enhance wellbeing and professional growth.
