Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week: Thumbswood staff visit Borehamwood Library

Two staff members from Thumbswood, HPFT’s specialist in-patient Mother and Baby Unit, visited Borehamwood Library to spread information and resources about Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week.
Elena Luck, Occupational Therapist at the unit, shared her experience of the day:
“We were able to speak to a range of people including mums, grandmothers and more. We even spoke to someone who said her neighbour was admitted to the unit and couldn’t thank us enough for the support we provided, stating that her neighbour has gone on to be an amazing mother.”
