NHS England short film features HPFT Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists from HPFT have helped bring to life a new NHS England film showcasing the difference the profession makes across health and care services.

Commissioned by NHS England's East of England Allied Health Professions (AHP) team, the film highlights the positive impact of occupational therapy practice across physical and mental health settings.

Developed to raise awareness of the profession and inspire more people to consider occupational therapy as a career, the film reflects the diverse ways occupational therapists support people to live well and achieve greater independence.

HPFT was selected as a key filming partner, with scenes filmed at Kingfisher Court, home to a number of the Trust's adult mental health inpatient services. We were delighted to support NHS England in developing this video, highlighting the role of occupational therapy in recovery, wellbeing and quality of life.

The film has now been added to NHS England learning resources and is being shared through regional networks, professional forums and social media channels.
