Sharing support for women impacted by domestic violence

At HPFT we are proud to share our support for women impacted by domestic violence.

The effect of domestic violence on mental health can have a devastating impact and three women tragically die each week as a result.

The World Health Organisation’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence draws attention to the escalation of violence against women and girls around the world. We’re proud to be supporting the campaign again this year.

We planted 52 orange bulbs, which will bloom in the spring, and act as a visual reminder of domestic violence within our communities. HPFT are one of a number of organisations across Hertfordshire who are showing their support in this way and the team chose to plant 52 bulbs to represent a four month period.
