Celebrating innovative research at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Conference

At HPFT, we are dedicated to research that helps improve care and support for the people who use our services.

Colleagues from HPFT’s Neurodevelopmental Research Stream and the RADiANT Network were delighted to attend the Royal College of Psychiatrists Eastern Division Autumn Conference 2025, held at the University of Cambridge. The event focused on “Psychotic disorders: Recent advances in optimising care across the age spectrum.”

Our teams presented seven research posters, showcasing innovative work to improve care for people with learning disabilities and neurodiversity. Topics included making health information accessible, supporting safer medication use, enhancing physical health checks, and developing effective forensic interventions.

We are thrilled to share that three of our posters won prizes, including two first-place awards and one second-place award.
