Former HPFT Chief Executive awarded CBE for services to mental health

Tom Cahill, the former Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT), has been awarded a CBE in the latest Honours list for his exceptional contributions to mental health.
Tom joined HPFT in 2005 and served as Chief Executive from 2009 to 2021. During his tenure, he oversaw the development of innovative care models and new state-of-the-art facilities, leading the Trust to achieve an 'outstanding' rating from the Care Quality Commission in 2019.
