Resident doctors' strike 14 – 19 November

Resident doctors across England are staging a strike from 7am on 14 November to 7am on 19 November. Resident doctors in HPFT are taking part in this action and we respect their right to do so.
Our priority is to ensure that we can provide a safe level of care for people who use our services and their carers during this period.
We have put in place comprehensive plans to minimise disruption resulting from the strike. If you have an appointment during this period, please attend as planned.
Regardless of any strike action taking place, it is important that people who need urgent treatment continue to come forward as normal, especially in emergency or life-threatening cases.
You can contact the Single Point of Access (SPA) Mental Health Helpline 24/7 on:
• Freephone 0800 6444 101, or
• NHS 111 and select option 2 for mental health services.
The helpline is staffed by experienced mental health professionals and support staff.
If someone is seriously ill or injured, dial 999 for the emergency services.
