QICN unveils new faculties for community nurses

The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing (QICN) has launched two new faculties: the Faculty of Community Mental Health Nursing and the Faculty of Community Learning Disability Nursing. These new initiatives aim to support and raise the profile of nurses working in these areas, helping them grow professionally and have a stronger voice in shaping community care across the UK.

We were delighted to host the launch of these faculties at our head office in Hatfield, bringing together community nurses, healthcare leaders and other stakeholders to celebrate the vital contributions of these specialist workforces.

HPFT colleagues were involved in sharing their expertise during the launch event. This included talks on professional standards and workforce development and innovations in community mental health care.
