Service users, families and carers being asked for their views on the NHS App

HPFT service users, their families and carers along with HPFT clinicians, are being asked to share their views on what benefits having access to their personal information from HPFT in the NHS App would make to them.

The NHS App enables service users to improve communication with the services they access by booking appointments with their GP, ordering repeat prescriptions and accessing their GP record.

HPFT is one of a number of mental health trusts working with NHS England to identify the benefits that that NHS app will provide.

There are around 30 million national users of the NHS app with around 845,000 within the Hertfordshire and West Essex region.
