Celebrating success and shaping the future at HPFT's AGM

29 Sep 26

The Trust hosted its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 24 September, bringing together colleagues, service users, carers and partners to reflect on progress during 2025/26 and a look ahead at the coming year.

Wooden blocks stacked vertically to spell “AGM” beside a blue graphic displaying the text “Annual Report and Accounts 2025/26”.

The meeting included a review of the past year, an overview of the Trust’s annual accounts and a discussion about priorities for 2026/27.

Highlights included establishing a joint Service User and Carer Council, expanding Mental Health Support Teams to more than 200 schools in Hertfordshire and opening new inpatient and crisis services.

The Trust also shared progress on safer care, including the launch of its five-year Safety Strategy, shaped by more than 1,500 contributions from service users, carers, staff and partners.

Looking ahead, HPFT’s priorities include improving access and care pathways, tackling inequalities, developing neighbourhood mental health centres and strengthening research and university partnerships.

The AGM concluded with an opportunity for attendees to share their questions and reflections.
